“Villa Cissa” is centrally located in an almost untouched medieval Mediterranean street with beautiful name Zdenac – Pian di pozzo (The Well), which vibrates with genuine throb of Old-City-life, only a step from the manorial palaces, churches, main city square, city museum, art galleries, market place and shops, charming cafés and exquisite restaurants, in the immediate vicinity of sea coast and the beaches – it is an incredible and unique mixture of history, legend and reality to meet with and never forget from your visit to Rovinj, if you choose to stay with us! In the vicinity of Villa Cissa there are numerous places for outing and to sit in, such as lovely cafes, pastries, bars and restaurants dotted in narrow streets and round pretty harbour of Rovinj, while the nearest beach or park are less than two minutes walking distance from the house. One can also take a short boat trip to numerous nearby beaches or beautiful small islands overlooking Rovinj peninsula. It is possible to find everything you want to spend a nice summer vacation, not only in a stylish apartment in Villa Cissa, as an ideal base to enjoy the city, but in the nearest surrounding of the house and the Old Town itself, from local pubs and art galleries to historic sights. It also acts as a good base to explore the Istrian countryside and mysterious but charming medieval hill top towns outside Rovinj, eg Motovun and Grožnjan. | “Villa Cissa” is a house originally built in 17th century and is centrally located along one of Rovinj's beautiful medieval streets. It has recently undergone extensive renovation and is now offered as three lovingly decorated, very high quality apartments, officially categorized as objects of a 4-star category. The house can be rented either entirely as a villa (for up to 14 people) or per apartment.
We have two stylish studio apartments, ideal for a couple (with one/two children) and one beautiful 2 bedroom apartment to suit couples or a family (up to 6 persons). Each apartment spreads on an entire house floor and big 2 bedroom apartment occupies two house floors. Come live alongside the locals in one of these three tastefully decorated apartments! Apartments provide an ideal base to enjoy the city, or one can take short walk or a boat trip to one of the numerous nearby beaches. The villa also acts as a good base to explore the Istrian countryside and medieval hill top towns outside Rovinj. Day trips to Venice and Plitvice Lakes can be booked from Rovinj as well as to Dubrovnik by flying from a nearby Pula airport. A charming art gallery at house’s street side is part of this cosy villa. “Villa Cissa” is open all year round. |

| All three of our romantic apartments are painted in pastel colours, with floor paved with a rare sort of dressed and polished Istrian stone. Mexican large double bed, made of wrought iron and fully provided with linen, are dominating in their bedrooms or sleeping area. A dining area for six persons with two tables is in the Figarola apartment while the wrought iron & wood made dining table with four chairs is in the dining part of the studios.
Large and soft Scandinavian sofa, easy to spread out in a comfortable additional double bed for extra two persons, a coffee table, satellite radio and television, many original artworks and reproductions – it all makes a warm atmosphere of private lounge in these apartments. Dazzling bathroom is with a bathtub in each studio apartment and with showers in Figarola, all completely equipped - from set of towels for each person and UK brand toilette accessories Sutton & Foster based on natural materials, up to magnifying cosmetic mirror - with a courtyard window for natural daylight and fresh air. Every apartment has automatic air-conditioning system, heating, cooling, private electronic safe box and other technical features plus many aesthetic details to make your stay safe, pleasant and unforgettable. Charming Italian made kitchen units in yellow, green or blue are completely equipped with all electrical features (fridge and a built-in stove with ceramic hob), chinaware and glass, tea and coffee making facilities, pans, dishes, cutlery etc, fully ready to season any culinary idea you may have to satisfy up to four people. Or you may wish only to make an espresso, morning or afternoon tea. Though we offer the personal touch of a B&B, breakfast is not served. Fully equipped kitchen gives you the option of preparing breakfast, lunch or even dinner yourself. However, you can also check the many reasonably priced delicious breakfast cafés as well as variety of restaurants nearby. | |
