| Bridlington is set in a beautiful bay with beautiful sandy beaches - designated Blue Flag - in the North East of England, just 30 miles north of Hull, with easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors and Wolds, Beverley, Bempton Cliffs (famous for the RSPB reserve with its puffins and gannets), Flamborough, York, Filey and Scarborough. The historic houses of Sledmere, Sewerby and Burton Agnes are close by and well worth a visit.
Enjoy the beauty of the bay especially during Regatta Week - the colour sails of the yachts make a spectacular sight. Enjoy a trip in a speed boat or in the pirate ship or the more traditional sail in the Bridlington Belle. National beach fishing competitions are also held every year. The picturesque working harbour adjacent to the promenade is lovely to walk along and is wheelchair friendly. The newly extended Promenades Shopping Complex is now open as is the newly refurbished Spa Theatre Complex which offers a variety of shows and concerts through the year as well as being the largest conference centre on the East Coast. The famous land train runs from Sewerby to the town centre and from the Spa Theatre to the south side. The intriguing Tuk Tuk is available for hire at very reasonable costs. There is also an excellent transport system whether it is by train or bus, taxi or personal vehicle, allowing easy access to the wonders and beauty of the East Riding of Yorkshire. There is a wealth of cafes, pubs and restaurants offering high quality refreshments at reasonable prices in Bridlington and surrounding areas. There are two golf courses located in Bridlington, and many more within a twenty mile radius - the area is known as the Golf Coast and for keen golfers it is possible to obtain a Golf Coast Passport - please contact Lincoln House for further information. | Lincoln House, built c.1892, was renovated to a very high standard in 2007, is ideally located to take advantage of all that Bridlington has to offer being only a ten minute stroll from the beach, town centre, harbour, theatre, bus and rail stations.
Lincoln House Bed & Breakfast offers three spacious and tastefully decorated en suite double bedrooms, delightful guest lounge and elegant dining room. Parking permits for on street parking are provided if required. Lincoln House has been awarded Four Stars by Visit Britain which reflects the quality of accommodation and service provided by the owners. A warm welcome awaits all guests at Lincoln House - come as visitors, leave as friends. Each bedroom is fully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, colour tv with dvd and freeview, cd radio alarm, dressing gowns, hair dryer and board games.
