Only 30mins from Leeds Bradford Airport, 45 mins from Manchester Airport. 1 ml from Brighouse Railway station, 3 min walk to bus stop.
The House is only a short drive away are the Dales and Moors with their fabulous scenery and miles of walking, riding, cycling etc., about 25 mins drive from Haworth a quaint cobbled village; visit the famous Parsonage where the Brontes were born and raised to write their world famous works there are many interesting little shops as well as some excellent local walks to make a day of it. 20mins from Hebden Bridge have a canal barge trip and don't forget to book the Mongolian Restaurant. Holmfirth just 15 mins drive away and is the location of Last of the Summers Wine, who could resistat a cuppa in the Wrinkly Stocking Cafe? There are numerous restaurants, lovely pubs with excellent menus, bars, nightclubs, art galleries, theatres, stately homes, film & TV locations; 10 Golf Courses within 7 miles!, Heritage centres, Historical museums, Canal; barge hire, horse riding; you are literally spoiled for choice with plenty to occupy the whole family. Brighouse was traditionally a small industrial mill town based around the River Calder the Victorian Industrial Revolution towns of Halifax and Huddersfield retain stunning examples of Victorian architecture. There is a bus garage and railway station as well as two supermarkets : Tesco and Sainsburys. There are several little corner shops and local pubs within walking distance of the house. There are also many lovely country gastro pubs/restuarants within 10mins drive and the Towns and of Halifax and Huddersfield are just 10mins drive away Leeds city centre is only 20mins away (parked and out of your car) and Manchester 45mins. There are many days out; explore York - Minster, Harrogate - Harewood House, Leeds and Saltaire World Heritage site and the Hockney Museum.
