| When we first saw this typical 1700's farmhouse on the Tuscan - Umbrian border in "The green heart of Italy" we fell in love, even though it was a "sleeping beauty" waiting for a prince, we knew we had found our new home. Sitting in almost 3 acres of private grounds with views of Mount Cetona, Citta Della Pieve and the valley below unfolding into a magnificent panorama covering the countryside of Tuscany and Umbria that is said, by the locals, to be the best views in the area. The renovations brought our home tastefully back to life whilst keeping the original character intact, where possible, adding a large swimming pool and modern comforts. The entire 200 sq. metre upper floor is now a self-catering apartment for sleeping up to twelve guests.
