| My apartment is on a quiet part of the coast in Pueblo Mascarat on Spains beautiful Costa Blanca coastline. If you're looking for a relaxing break or a family holiday the apartment will serve as an ideal base from which to explore the many wonderful sites and attractions that this part of Spain has to offer. And don't forget there are loads of fabulous golf courses in the area if you can't leave your clubs at home. The bright sands and clear light of the Mediterranean have given the Costa Blanca its name. Pueblo (village) Mascarat is a fairly new 'Moors' type development located just south of Calpe on Spains Costa Blanca - North. This is a very peacefull area with no 'disco' type bars or nightclubs although there are great bars and restaurants around the Marina offering a fantastic variety of choice from pizza to seafood platters. The Marina (Greenwich Marina) The Marina is an excellent place to eat with choices ranging from pizzarias to seafood platters. This areas is the main stop for entertainment in Mascarat with its restaurants and bar. There are approximately 16 bars and restaurants within the Marina. The Tela Marinera restaurant at the bottom of the drive is an excellent choice and presentation is beautiful. The menu may be fairly basic but it is excellent quality and great value. As well as the bars and restaurants there are the yachts. Along the Costa Blanca there are over 100 kilometres of coastline on which you can enjoy the sea and the climate. Choosing the place to suit you mood is easy because the seashore is so diverse. In addition, you'll be pleased to know that the Costa Blanca has been given more Blue Flags than any other tourist destination in Europe since the creation of this award, providing proof of the excellent quality of its water and beaches. They're all yours to discover! This area offers more than a chance to do some swimming or sunbathing. There is a complete infrastructure for sports-lovers of all kinds. You'll discover that many coastal areas have their own sailing schools, and some run their own scuba diving courses in summer. All this happens at any one of the twenty one sports marinas along the Costa Blanca. If you are interested in art or history, you'll find quite a lot of sightseeing as this area boasts a rich history and culture influenced by the Greeks, Romans, Phoenicians and Carthaginians. Inland, you'll see watchtowers and castles looming up on every horizon. As you travel about, you'll find a wide range of museums throughout the Costa Blanca region. The area of Denia has almost twenty kilometres of coastline boasting fine sandy beaches with shallow waters to the north of town and a series of small coves along the rocky coast to the south known as Les Rotes. | The Apartment is well appointed with 2 bedrooms and a seperate bathroom. The master bedroom is en-suite. Along with a bed-settee the apartment offers accomodation for up to 6 people with all linen included. Situated on the second floor, with easy access via stairs or lift, the apartment has great views along the coast. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, central heating and ceiling fans so you should remain comfortable whatever the conditions. The kitchen is fully equipped including a washing machine and a microwave so there's no excuse for not catering for yourself - other than the excellent bars and restaurants that is! A great pool is within the complex purely for the use of the residents and includes a seperate paddling pool. A shop selling basic supplies is close at hand with supermarkets selling a wider range of goods near by.
