5 min drive to La Duquesa beach, a large sandy beach, perfect for families, with beach bars and volleyball net. Walk the promenade all the way to Sabinillas beach, about a mile, to enjoy the views to Estepona and the rest of the New Golden Mile. The marina has a variety of great bars and restaurants, as well as boutique gift shops, internet cafe and a bakery. Several large supermarkets are within a few minutes drive, the largest being the Carrefour in Estepona with everything you'll ever need and more! Casares, a beautiful white washed Andalucian mountain village is 15 mins by car. Spend the day experiencing a traditional Spanish 'pueblo'. Ronda is only an hour away by car and is one of the most distinctive and beautiful towns in Spain. It is split in two by the El Tajo gorge. The bullring is the oldest in Spain and worth a visit. Gibraltar is only 25 mins away, don't forget your passport to cross the border. A cable car runs to the top of the rock, where you can meet the Barbary Apes. | |
